As I come across books that are worth your time and will change your life, I will post them here in the Life Tools category of the Help section of this site. I will try not to post any books here that I have not read myself. These books have made a huge impact on my life and I don’t just believe, but I know they will make an impact on your life as well.

I would like to send or upload some recent photos or pictures that I have to the LAMTI Yearbook Site. I can not seem to find a place to do this. Is this possible?
Right now this is not possible. If you will fill out the contact information on the Contact Us section of the site, which is located in the top main naviagtion, then we will reply to you with an email address where you can send your photos and we will publish them.


Why can I not upload them myself?
Good question and there are several answers, some being…we are still working out the technology to make sure that it works right and that it will be safe for the site and for our Alumni. Another reason would be that we want to screen and make sure that none Alumni and random people aren’t uploading their information and pictures to the site. Besides the book a new revolution in many churches and growing by the month is Financial Peace University or better known as FPU. It’s a 13 week course that allows you to really learn in great detail everything he teaches and how to manage not only your money but your life.

As missionary kids we often see our parents worry about money and not always good at managing it. We don’t know that we shouldn’t have credit cards and car loans, etc… we think that is the American dream, the way to live. This has changed my life, my parents lives, my sister and brother’s lives. My Pastor and family members and friends have taken control of their money and not only chosen to win but are winning.

Why do you upload the videos to YouTube or Google Video?
For many reasons but the main ones are these. We save bandwidth and space on our servers to hold the videos and then stream them each time they are watched. Also this makes them more accesible to a wider audience using different platforms to view them. YouTube and Google also track various things that we can not such as views and other information that makes it easier on you the viewer.

Is anyone using Facebook or MySpace?
We are not sure about MySpace but there is a Facebook Group called LAMTI created by Amy Walker for the sole purpose of allowing the Alumni to join and be apart of the group and keep in touch with everyone better. Click here to see it.

I have photos and videos I’d like added to the site, is it possible?
The more pictures and videos, the better! If they are digital you can email them or send a CD of them and we will upload them. If they are printed, then just mail them to us. We will scan them and send them back to you. Videos are easy if you use YouTube, GodTube, Google Videos, whatever, just send us the link and we’ll blog in the video section. To send them by mail go to Contact Us, you’ll find an address there. Thanks for photos.

Currently there is no way to upload the pictures you have to the site or through the site directly. If you have not received an email from us then fill out your information in the Contact Us section of the site for the first time and we will always reply to that to let you know we received it and then you will be able to reply to that Email and send us your picture(s).
